Ok, so I’m watching the episode of A Different World, where Dwayne goes out on a “date” with another woman and he tells Whitney before their engagement party.
So alright, the episodes tell you that Dwayne was having cold feet and doubts about marriage, livelong commitment and living the rest of his life with Whitley. So rather than talking to the woman he loves and asked to spend the rest of his life with, he got caught up in the new feelings of a new woman who seemed to stimulate him a bit more than Whitley did at the moment.
So of course all was well and good and Ron was of course telling Dwayne to just keep his mouth shut, except, Kim saw Dwayne and the woman holding hands, and she talked to him and told him he needed to talk to Whitley.
So he did and if you are a fan like I am, then you know what happened. In the end, the emotional infidelity was too much for Whitley and she ended the engagement and relationship.
So tonight’s question: Dwayne went on a date, but no sex happened, but he really enjoyed the date and the way he felt with the woman. So my question is: Is it still infidelity if it was just dinner and no sex? Or is it the emotional infidelity that is the most painful.
