Random Thoughts: Turning 50, Airline Prices & Workplace Shenanigans 🎙️😂

Y’all, I’m turning the BIG 5-0 in a couple of weeks! 🥳

Now, normally I’m perfectly fine spending my birthday solo, but this year I decided I wanted to go home to New Orleans and spend some time with family before my big South Africa trip.

Simple enough, right? WRONG. 😂

Between these ridiculous airline prices and trying to get clarification on my work schedule, planning a quick birthday trip turned into a whole situation!

I’m talking $1,200 flights, schedule confusion, and a text message from management that had me looking at my phone sideways. 🤨

But guess what? The flights are BOOKED! I’m going home for my 50th!
