Damn it. I really need to learn more about my damn neighbors. You just NEVER know what is going on. It’s funny, cause being from NOLA, I remember growing up my family ALL lived in the same neighborhood some in adjacent courts other on the same street (Desire Housing Projects) but we knew all the neighbors and the families all grew up together. To this day, when my family or any of the people from the old neighborhood throws a party, damn near every damn person from the old neighborhood shows up. With the advent of social media and the internet, it’s funny that, IMHO, it seems people are actually less social than in the past, the person to person connection is not what it used to be. I mean you could live in the same neighborhood for years and NEVER meet your neighbor face to face, but have no idea what is going on in your own neighborhood.
