OMG! What the hell, I can’t believe that there are some people who are crying “coon” over Charles Ramsey. This dude ain’t Sweet Brown. Yes it took guts for the young lady to call for help, but this guy had only been living in this neighbor a little over a year ago and if it’s true that the guy owned the house for decades, then this girls (now women) had been in that house over 10 years and nobody noticed nothing (???).
now this guy, heres a woman crying out sees its a white girl and basically busts down the door to help her escape.
I swear some of us are so embarassed about our own people, than anyone who doesn’t conform to “white” norms are always treated as if they are embarassments.
I’m sorry, but we all come from diverse families. I am college-educated, a majority of my fam is not and guess what, I can totally see members of my fam speaking just like this dude.
Damn, we need to call cooning when its real cooning, NOT some guys who just went through some major dramatic incidents and expect him to talk like some celebrity spokesperson or some newscaster.
What we need to do is examine why is it that we expect regular people to speak like a spokesperson would whenever confronted by a cameraman or reporter after a traumatic or dramatic event.
I challenge anyone to try to talk like some PR rep after just coming off of doing something out of the ordinary and possibly traumatic.
It boggles my mind
